Clovis Exceeds Fundraising Goal for Children's Inn at NIH
Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) May 9, 2008 -- Clovis founders Greg Diamond and Rick Levine jumped behind the bar at Tommy Joe's Restaurant in downtown Bethesda to help raise money for the Children's Inn at NIH. The happy hour was complete with wrist bracelets and raffle tickets, of which all of the proceeds directly benefited the Children's Inn.
"Clovis is committed to funding the projects and services the Children's Inn provides," said Rick Levine. The happy hour drew a full house, and information was available for people to learn more about the Children's Inn.
This past winter, Clovis participated in an ice cream social for the Inn's visiting patients and family members, as many of them are far from home without access to a kitchen and home-made food. "It is our priority to give back," Greg Diamond, and "we're thrilled to have had such success at the happy hour."
As stated on the Inn's website, "children come from across the country and around the world to stay together with their families in The Inn's healing environment while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world's leading biomedical research center." Since 2007, Clovis Cares, a 100% employee volunteer group, has been working with the Inn to help raise both morale and money.
The fundraiser at Tommy Joe's raised 200% of Clovis' original goal for the Children's Inn, as well as a lot of awareness. Clovis is already making great strides in reaching its 2008 goal of touching 1,000 lives!
About Clovis
Founded in early 2000, Clovis (www.clovisgroup.com) looked at the way recruiters and staffing firms operated and declared that they would do it better. Instead of making their business only about how to best recruit, they decided to focus on the two most important groups in the process, clients and candidates. Years later, Clovis continues to recruit "A-level" talent for some of the best companies in the world.

Fresno Flat Fee MLS
